Can you translate my name into Kanji?
Last Updated: 2018-07-18
Our staff are able to translate your name into Japanese Kanji, this is generally done by selecting Kanji which use the same phonetic sound (Ateji). However, if you wanted to use a particualr set of Kanji, then simply let us know once you have placed the order. In the case of Dojo names and other Japanese words, many Kanji use the same sound so please let us know exactly which Kanji should be used once the order has been placed.  As there are so many possible options for Kanjii it is strongly advised that you provide some guidance as to what Kanji you would like for your name.
