The Haori was originally worn over the Samurai Yoroi Armor as an extra layer against weather, but soon became a everyday item among the regular Japanese people.

This is a Uchimizu "FURYU" Haori made for Iaido. It can be worn during summer thanks to the Uchimizu-DRY fabric. Woven in a unique lattice pattern, it gives has an instant cooling sensation, remaining comfortable and smooth even during intense practice. Light and flexible, it dries very fast.

Made with 100% polyester
Available in black and white.

This Haori is especially made for Iaido by the experienced tailors and seamstresses at Tozando workshop, in Kyoto.

Note: when bought as an option, Haori Himo comes separately.
