On October 19, 2013, a critically acclaimed Samurai movie titled SHUNDOU(the international title will be BUSHIDO) is released nationwide in Japan, and with the collaboration with the director/writer of the movie, Mikami Yasuo, Tozando is proud to introduce the new practical Iaito sword, SHUNDOU Iaito. This SHUNDOU Iaito was actually used by the leading character, Harada Daihachiro, played by Hira Takehiro, and the sword plays a great supporting role in the film to the climax.

SHUNDOU Iaito is a Tozando exclusive and offers the perfect choice for those looking for the ultimate in practical efficiency and elegant design. Not only is this SHUNDOU Iaito great for a Samurai film lover as a commemorative but perfect for Iaidoka of all levels, who are looking for a practical and elegant Iaito.

Comes as standard with black cotton Tsuka wrapping and deluxe quality cotton Sageo, deluxe Menuki, Fuchi and Kashira featuring a beautiful Dragon design and Suguha Hamon.

Features a sand-casted, bubble-free zinc/aluminum alloy blade available up to 2.45 shaku.

This premium package includes SHUNDOU Iaito, a poster and a set of 2 Blu-ray discs of SHUNDOU movies. The disc 1 features the 2013 version(102 min. plus 28 min. of trailers) as described above and you may choose the English subtitle from the menu. The disc 2 consists of the 1982's original version of SHUNDOU(36 min.) produced and directed also by Mikami Yasuo himself plus the making of SHUNDOU 2013(215 min.).

*A zinc/aluminum alloy blade is not constructed for cutting and/or hitting any objects, further it cannot be sharpened. Please do not attempt these actions.
