This is a Mitsuboshi Deluxe Quality Full Contact Karate Gi and Pants Set made for Full contact Karate. The Gi and pants are made with light and durable #11 Cotton Canvas, providing a good balance between of rigidity and comfort while wearing the uniform.

The Gi and pants have an ideal cut for Full Contact Karate, to allow your arms and legs more freedom of movement to deliver powerful and fast strikes. In this purpose, the sleeves of the Gi are more narrow and shorter than a traditional Gi to allow for grappling techniques and the Gi does not come with a inner-himo for tying the Gi. The pants are slightly longer and the legs are slightly wider. The uniform has also been pre-washed to minimize shrinkage after washing the uniform. Can also be used for MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) purposes.

This uniform is made in Japan at the Tozando Iwate Factory. The entire Uniform is made with 100% cotton and available in size 00-6. (Custom-made sizes are available upon request). Belts are sold separately.

Mitsuboshi is a longstanding brand in the domestic Japanese market, founded in 1953, it is one of the oldest large Budo equipment makers around! Although maybe not very well known internationally due to their limited exposure overseas, they are known for high quality brand products such as the "MINE" brand Kendo Bogu and "FUJITAKA" brand Judo products.
Mitsuboshi is part of the Tozando Group since early 2015 and can now be considered to be one of Tozando's sub-brands.
