This "RYU" Kendo Gi jacket is a classic single layer Gi made of indigo dyed cotton. It's durability makes it a good choice for daily practice.
As it is indigo dyed, you should expect the dying to bleed during first washings therefore we strongly advise you to wash it separately (preferably by hand) at the beginning. Once the bleeding have stopped it can be washed in a washing machine together with other clothing.
Please note however that as most cotton-made products it might shrink a bit at the beginning. To limit the shrinkage, we recommend you to wash your Gi jacket at low temperature and to NEVER put it in a drying machine.
