The Bonji Koshirae features sanskrit letter on fitting ornaments as a silver-plated brass Fuchi/Kashira, an iron-made Tsuba and a silver-plated Menuki. Each sanskrit represent guardian deities like Acala, Samantabhadra, Amitabha. Saya lacquer is available in Kuroro, Kuroishime and Chaishime. A sand-casted, a bubble-free zinc/aluminum alloy blade available up to 2.70 shaku. Tsuka is carefully hand-wrapped with the cotton braid over white Tsukasame and the Sageo matches with the Tsuka color. Silk Tsuka wrapping/Sageo are also available. For those who prefer Kojiri attachment, Bonji Koshirae offers the Kojiri option.

This is a beautiful piece of craftmanship. Nicely weighted, the tsuka is very well done and the hamon is fantastic. A fantastic saya. Very solid iaito when in use, not one bit of movement in the tsuka. Highly recommened.
