In addition to the neo-leather micro-punch palm and the application of a Bioclean treatment, this 'Super Hygenic' BioCLEAN Kote features the new "Dry Mesh" fabric that facilitates the evaporation of perspiration and consequently reduces the drying time. Using the latest in technological advancements, such as the innovative 'BioCLEAN' Leather, to bring you a pair of Kote which is Anti-bacterial and Anti-Odorant. We know there have been several kendo equipment that claim to be 'Hygenic' or 'Anti-Odor', but we are confident that BioCLEAN technology will be the first to literally change the way kendo equipment is perceived.

The inside of the Kote is covered with BioClean treated sweat absorbing Sillead felt from Toray, making this Kote not only very comfortable to wear, but the Sillead felt also helps to absorb sweat and keep your hands dry during usage. In addition to this, it also dries quickly and thanks to the BioClean treatment, prevents unwanted bacterial growth inside the Kote.

The Bioclean Dry Mesh Kote now also features the O-Ji Cut Joint, which promotes a more natural grip and makes it easier to make more dynamic wrist movements. This Oji-Cut can also be seen on our Shin-Mokkei and Mokkei models!

Legkiye, udobnyye, no zashchita slabaya.
V nikh ne zharko i ruki pochti ne poteyut.

S razmerom mozhno ne ugadat'.

Lightweight, comfortable, but protection is weak.
It’s not hot in them and your hands hardly sweat.

With size you can not guess.

Love these Kote. Light, flexible, feel great and look great. They also keep my hands super cool. I normally hate Kote with so much synthetic material. These are fantastic. The O-Ji cut is amazing. However, there is one critical thing. The thumb. I hate that big square shape thumb. My thumb can't settle into my Kamae the way I want it to as my thumb shifts around depending on the amount of grip that I apply. Otherwise, these would be perfect. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the Yamamoto Mariko version of the Wakon as the more tapered cut in the thumb. Durability remains to be seen as I have only spent a month with them.

OK, so now these are my go to Kote. I have several sets, but these are the ones I compete in and take on the strongest opponents for practice in. Still don't like that thumb, but these are quite the pair of Kote. The palms are still the original with no holes. Little to no odor. Still dark blue.

Got this pair of Kote recently, feels great, I really like the "Sillead felt" on the inside of the Kote, feels really comfortable and smooth, and the "O-ji cut" on the wrist.

This pair even "un-broken" feel better then the other pair I got (3mm regular machine stitched).

I'm very impressed. They really keeps the palms dry. Very useful for long seminar, where there is not time to dry. And, at the moment, nothing about bad smell. : )
