This is the first time ordering from Tozando, so far I absolutely love this uniform. It is very sturdy, but lighter than some other uniform I have, which makes it perfect to practice during summer. It washes very easily and air dries fast. As many might know, it shrinks a size after washing. I'm looking forward to purchasing a second one. Also, shipping from Japan to US was quick.

I recently had the experience of breaking a brand-new practice Shinai a couple of times. I decided to purchase from Tozando International. I am amazed by the quality of Shinai and the carefully packed shipment. I will buy Shinai from Tozando again.

When I started, I cheaped out on the obi. Figured I could get by. It's just a belt. Nope.

This belt has the proper rigidity to hold up the sword securely, and the right texture to allow it to slide without slipping too easily. I bought a second one in another color. There's a reason everyone in my club has one of these.

This is my first cotton iaidogi. The others are tetron. I was surprised by the lack of outer tie. It only has the inner tie, but the result is that it looks neater when worn. The material is good, the texture looks great, and it breathes well.

This is my first cotton hakama. My others have been tetron. I like how the material feels like it has more "body" to it, and the brown color is great. Fits exactly like you'd expect.
