Typographical Errors In the event that a Tozando Co., Ltd. product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Tozando Co., Ltd. reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Tozando Co., Ltd. reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Tozando Co., Ltd. shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Term; Termination These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by Tozando Co., Ltd. without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.

Miscellaneous Your use of this site shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Japan. You agree that jurisdiction over and venue in any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to this site (including but not limited to the purchase of Tozando Co., Ltd. products) shall be in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the site (including but not limited to the purchase of Tozando Co., Ltd. products) must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. Tozando Co., Ltd.'s failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Impersonation of others, including a Tozando Co., Ltd. or other licensed employee, host, or representative, as well as other members or visitors on the site is prohibited. related to shipping & returns General terms and conditions
- For products which are eligible for free shipping or for orders containing products with free shipping, we reserve the right to choose which shipping method we will use to ship the product.
- Tozando might change the post courier chosen by the customer without any prior notice in the case that the chosen service, for what ever reasons, is not available for the destination of the recipient. In this case, the most appropriate service next to the one that the customer had chosen will be used to shipped the order. - Should the customer choose to refuse the parcel upon delivery for any reason, please note that Tozando will hold the customer liable for the shipping fee back to Japan and no refund will be given.
Terms and Conditions
related to the purchase of an Iaito
General terms and conditions - Tozando strongly recommends that you use this Iaito under the guidance of a certified instructor. Tozando can not be held liable for any damage or injuries caused by the misuse of this product. - Tozando does not conduct sales to minors. By accepting these terms and conditions, you certify that you are not a minor. Tozando can not be held liable should this not be true. - This Iaito can not be sharpened and is mainly for Iaido practice or ornament display purpose.
Regarding order modification Request for modifications can be accepted up to 5 business days after the order was placed. After this period, no request for modification will be accepted.
Cancellation and refund policy - Up to 3 calendar days after placing your order: cancellation possible and full refund granted. - From 4 to 7 calendar days after placing your order: cancellation possible, 70% of the total value of your order refunded. - From 8 calendar days and as long as the production of your Iaito is not complete: cancellation possible, 50% of the total value of your order refunded. - Once the production of your Iaito is complete and is ready to ship or has already shipped: no cancellation or refund possible.
- Should the customer choose to refuse the parcel upon delivery for any reason, please note that Tozando will hold the customer liable for the shipping fee back to Japan and as mentioned above, no refund will be given.
Regarding customs and importation procedure - Upon arrival in your country, your order may be subject to customs and duty fees. Any such extra fees are to be paid by the recipient. Tozando can not be held liable for any extra expenses. - In addition to shipping fees paid on the Tozando online store, note that shipping companies such as UPS or DHL may charge you for custom clearance procedures. Any such extra fees are to be paid by the recipient. Tozando can not be held liable for any extra expenses. - Iaito may be considered as weapons in some countries. As such, importation in your country may be prohibited or subject to particular custom clearance procedures. Please, contact your local authorities for more information.
