Oda Nobunaga, born in 1534 in Nagoya Castle, with the childhood name of Kipp¨­shi, was the strongest Daimyo of the age of civil wars, the Sengoku period. Nobunaga lived a life of continuous military conquest, eventually conquering most of Japan before his death in 1582, beginning the unification of Japan conclused afterwards by Tokugawa Yeyasu. The first step in this process that sounded as a miracle, was the Battle of Okehazama, where he managed to win with just 3000 samurai against 25000 launching a surprise attack, defeating Imagawa Yoshimoto and established himself as one of the front-running warlords.
