The Tozando headquarters have been based in Kyoto's district of Nishijin for many years now, an area of the city which has long been famous traditional tailoring, in particular in the production of Japanese Kimono. At Tozando's main store, we have a full team of former Kimono tailors and seemstresses who work each day to produce the best quality in Budo uniforms and wears.

The Tozando Tailor-Made Iaido Hakama is the result of extensive research we have made throughout the years, and is therefore based on Tozando's perpetual awareness of the Hakama design and development.

Now, for the first time, we are offering you the possibility to own a completely tailor-made Hakama, made exclusively to your measurements and requirements.

Especially developed for use in Iaido, these Hakama feature a sturdy Koshi-ita, to give additional support to the lower-back and help encourage a correct posture.

PLEASE NOTE - Each of our Custom Hakama are completely made to order, by professional tailors and seamstresses here in Kyoto, Japan. Every effort is made to ensure that each garment is produced with the utmost care and attention, and no corners are cut in their manufacturing. For this reason, production usually takes around 4-6 weeks as standard. 

Please also consider that because the Tozando Tailor-Made Iaido Hakama is a customised product, no returns will be accepted.

This hakama is a certification marvel, since even being of cotton does not present the classic disadvantages of maintenance. The appearance that gives you, to the being a made made-to-measure piece, is formidable.

It is my first hakama color I unsay and the truth is that I am charmed with his color, and for the use that I give him it did not detect these losses of color about which the whole world speaks.

Me there is saisfecho so much that from this moment all my hakamas will be of this type.

Top quality construction and delivered on schedule as always. I ordered this in polyester, very soft and thick and has a stunning appearance, doesn't attract lint and folds easily. Worth the extra cost over tetron.
