Ieyasu was the founder and the first Tokugawa Shogunate and was enshrined at Nikko with the name Tosho Daigongen. This Sohayano Tsurugi Koshirae sword pays a tribute to his legacy and historical achievements. An ultra-hard, zinc/brass alloy blade is so solid and heavy and for those who wish the real heavy practice sword, this Koshirae is optimal. The blade also features the extra grooves. Each parts are uncompromisingly hand-assembled by the Japanese sword craftsman, who is expert in making the genuine Japanese sword, Shinken. The blade is available up to 2.45 shaku. Weight without Saya is approximately 1000 gram(for 2.45 shaku). Proudly made in Japan.
