This single-layered Kendo Gi is made of 100% Mikawa cotton that is a specialty product of what is now Aichi prefecture where the first Japanese cotton was made. The cotton yarn is dyed indigo with the deep and rich Bushu dye, known as Bushukon-Shoaizome. The tailoring fits perfectly to your body and it enables you to create a dignified appearance.

This Super-Soft, genuine Shoaizome Indigo-Dyed Mikawa Cotton Kendo Gi "KUH" (Literally 'Sky' in Japanese) is a new practical single-layered Kendogi which is light-weight and practical.

As it's microbactically softened, it's much smoother and softer than a standard Kendo Gi. The microbiotic treatment also reinforces the cotton yarn and prevents it from shrinking after the wash. The colour of the genuine Bushu indigo dye (Shoaizome) creates an even more luxurious look. 100% Mikawa cotton, which is the specialty product of what is now Aichi prefecture where Japanese cotton has been made since the 16th century. The tailoring fits perfectly to your body and it enables you to create a dignified appearance.
