Satsuma Koshirae is known to be the most practical sword on the battlefield. This Satsuma Koshirae features the Fuchi/Kashira, Kojiri and Tsuba with the seawave plovers. The Tsuka handle is long and thick and wrapped with the cowhide, instead of sharkskin unlike the norm, in accordance with the historical piece. Two holes are also featured as the Tsuba stopper.
Attention: this model is without any Menuki.
