	This Hon Higo Koshirae features blackened brass Fuchi/Kashira with orthodox and famous rounded Higo theme and an iron-made Tsuba with wheels and arrows theme. Saya lacquer is available in Kuroro, Kuroishime and Chaishime. A sand-casted, a bubble-free zinc/aluminum alloy blade available up to 2.80 shaku. Approximately 1000 gram without the Saya for 2.50 shaku. Tsuka is carefully hand-wrapped with the cotton braid and the Sageo mathces with the Tsuka color. Silk Tsuka wrapping/Sageo are also available(the additional ¥15300 is required). Menuki is chrysanthemum petals themed. For those who prefer Kojiri attachment , Yamashiro HB Series offers the Kojiri option for the additional ¥20400. Please allow approximately four weeks for the production. 2.50 or longer blade takes about five to six weeks. *A zinc/aluminum alloy blade is not constructed for cutting and/or hitting any objects. Beyond drams.... September 23, 2008 Reviewer: Paul Shortland from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire England   This sword is simple and beautiful. Hamon is strong fittings are tight and quiality drips off it, just looking at it you can see the care from all of the people involved in making and shipping it. Excellent iaido A++. April 7, 2008 Reviewer: Evan Clark from Carbondale, Illinois United States   Its beauty is in its simplicity. The blade is well balance with a strong hamon pattern and well attached by tight fittings. The tsuka is tightly wrapped with sunflower menuki.
