Saya lacquer is available in Kuroro, Kuroishime and Chaishime. A sand-casted, a bubble-free zinc/aluminum alloy blade available up to 2.80 shaku. Approximately 1000 gram without the Saya for 2.50 shaku. Tsuka is carefully hand-wrapped with the cotton braid and the Sageo mathces with the Tsuka color. Silk Tsuka wrapping/Sageo are also available(the additional ¥15300 is required). For those who prefer Kojiri attachment , Yamashiro HB Series offers the Kojiri option for the additional ¥20400. The blade is well balance with a strong hamon pattern and well attached by tight fittings. The tsuka is tightly wrapped with sunflower menuki.
