Featured on Iaido Tora no Maki book, Tozando is please to announce the launch of the new "Uchimizu" Iaido Gi and Hakama set.

The special "Uchimizu-DRY" fabric is woven in a unique lattice pattern, which is cooling and gives complete freedom of movement. Each set is hand-made by our experienced tailors in our headquarters in Nishijin, Kyoto. Thanks to the lightweight, stretch fabric, and specialist tailoring, it allows your movements to be effortlessly smooth.

This Hakama and Iaidogi combination are perfect for your intense summer practices, as they are sweat absorbing and quick-drying. Also, thanks to a new design, the Gi is tailored in a special way, taking advantage of the Kimono tailoring technique "Okumi", which prevents it from becoming un-tucked from the Hakama, keeping your appearance dignified.

Tozando est fier de vous présenter le Gi et le Hakama Uchimizu "FURYU" désormais disponible dans un ensemble unique !

"Uchimizu" fait référence à la façon dont l'eau est soignement aspergée pour rafraîchir les rues et jardins japonais. Les Japonais considèrent l'Uchimizu comme un parfait exemple de l'application de leurs valeurs nationales car ce procédé combine l'utilitarisme, l'esthétisme et la courtoisie.

Chaque ensemble de Gi et Hakama est fait-main par nos artisans dans nos locaux de Nishijin à Kyoto.

Le Gi a été réalisé à partir d'une méthode de confection traditionnelle de kimono appellée “Okumi“. Il en ressort un Gi qui s'adaptera parfaitement à votre Hakama et évitera de se déserrer et de “déborder“ de ce dernier : votre apparence n'en sera qu'améliorée !

Le Hakama quant à lui a été tressé d'une façon unique qui améliore l'amplitude de vos mouvements. La fluidité de vos mouvements sera améliorée grace à sa texture légère et étirable.

Cet ensemble conviendra à vos entraînements les plus demandants car il aide l'évacuation de la transpiration et sèche très rapidement.

These clothes are exceptionally light, almost disconcertingly so at first. Also, the material is a bit stretchy, which takes a little getting used to. However, the clothes feel nice, flow nicely and fit very comfortably indeed. They are exceptionally cool and comfortable to wear. The tailoring is of a very high standard (they look great!) and the sizing (for my measurements) was good.

I brought these in white, so perfect for embu/taikai/gradings, but they're not for my every day practice.

Quick delivery and good communication with Tozando as usual.

The fabric is so light that it feels that you have nothing on. Does not hinder movement at all and is totally quiet. Excellent for embu, but for daily use maybe too frail. The color is more dark grey than black.

Great but size chart is not quite accurate	February 26, 2011

I've just got a pack of gi & hakama. Shipped in 2 weeks time to Vietnam, it's not bad.

The quality of the gi & hakama is great, material is wonderful for iaido practices. However, there's only one thing that I didn't not happy about is that the size chart seems to be not accurate. I'm 1,68meter height, I chose L size for the gi. The gi is 94cm long, it's quite too long for me, it goes down to my knees :(

I strongly recommend this package for every iaidoka, but you should carefully consider the size and should consult with TozandoShop for more accuracy!
