The Anti-bacterial BioClean Iaido Uniform "SAYAKA" is made with polyester fabric that has been mixed with Deocell® fiber. Because of this, the Uniform is excellent to wear during summer as it is lightweight, sweat absorbing and quick-drying. It also prevents unwanted bacterial growth and odor, keeping your Gi and Hakama hygienic and clean for a longer period of time.

the Deocell® fiber is a natural cellulose fiber which does not cover the odors but dissolves and eliminates them thanks to it's anti-bacterial properties. It does this by breaking up the ammonia chemicals which are present in sweat, dissolving and neutralizing the odors. Because it is a natural cellulose fiber it's very delicate on the skin as it has a natural PH which is close to the PH of the skin, and does not release any dangerous substances. It also does not need any specific treatments to keep it's characteristics, and thus the fabric will keep it's anti-bacterial properties even after repeated cleaning and usage.

The Gi is tailored using the traditional Kimono tailoring technique called "Okumi", which prevents it from being un-tucked from the Hakama, keeping your appearance dignified and elegant through your Keiko.

The Hakama also features inner-stitched pleats, to prevent the pleats from loosing their shape and also makes it a breeze to wash and fold your Hakama, without having to worry about the pleats loosing their shape.

Our Hakama are made with a maximum waist size of 95cm in mind, if your waist is larger than 95cm, your Hakama may need to be custom-made, please contact us for more information. **Height recommendations are only for reference, to properly determine your Hakama size, measure between the top hip bone and the anklebone in standing position. This length is approximately equivalent to the length between the bottom of the rear obi and the rear hem. Refer to the size chart shown above.

A very satisfied customer in terms of quality of the material and not forgetting workmanship. However there's a need to improve the ordering software/webpage. It will be good if all emails be in English if possible. Even if you have to use Japanese, it must have another that translates it. Fortunately I'm asked to take pictures of my body and send them for observation and estimation. I wonder if this area can be further improved?

Comfortable and light, unfortunately there is no side lace on the gi wouldve been nice to see that.
