Tetto literally means an iron sword and the name is derived from the shape which resembles the Japanese sword, but it doesn't have the cutting edge and the function is rather similar to the Jutte's because it is mainly designed for the purpose of capturing the enemies without damaging them and/or for the self-defense. Traditionally the Tetto is also called Kabutowari, that is, a helmet crusher.

This Tetto Kabutowari is made of hard solid steel and the handle is securely and tightly wrapped with the cotton cord.

Traditionnellement, ce Tetto était utilisé pour capturer les ennemis sans les blesser ou pour de la self-defense.Le nom original de cette arme est Kabutowari, qui signifie littéralement "pourfendeur de casque".

Ce Tetto est fait en acier solide et la poignée est enrobée par une corde de coton.
