Each of these Standard Furnished Shinai is manufactured by the Tozando Group in our ISO-9001 certified facility, and carries the Japanese Government's SG mark of quailty. Each Shinai is cut from the same bamboo plant.

Comes with all leather fittings. This model is preferred among beginners, or intermediate practitioners for the combination of the good quality and the reasonable price.

Furnished(Tsuka Grip Leather, Shinai Tip, Deluxe Shinai Tip Leather, Nakayu Brace Leather, Shinai String are included). Tsuba and Tsubadome are sold separately.

Please note that in Japan adult female's generally use size 39 shinai, which is why our shinai are mostly made according to the FIK specifications with size 38 for ladies being for high school students at 420g. While adult Females are allowed to use size 38 Shinai, these Shinai will need to weigh more than 440g without the Tsuba & Tsuba-dome.
These kind of Shinai are usually sold as "Adult Ladies' 38" on Tozando.

Good for very long endurance trainings, however the balance is towards the handle therefore striking requires a lot more power than a tip heavy shinai.
