Persimmon-Dyed Cotton Kendo Gi

Persimmon-Dye is commonly known as "Kakishibu" in Japan and this "persimmon juice" has been said to be good for the insecticide and antiseptic lacquering(especially on wood) and the persimmon-dyed fabric garment was worn among the Samurai warrior in the Heian perioid according to the historical record. Like the natural herb-dye, it works great for chemical dye allergy, chronic atopy and mental relaxation, being so easy on your skin as the same time. Tozando is proud to introduce you this new Kendo Gi jacket made of the persimmon-dyed cotton. Simgle-layered. 100% persimmon-dyed cotton. All handmade to order in Japan. Please allow two months for the producttion.

Due to the nature of product for dying process, the actual color may differ from the image. And the fabric will shrink after being washed, approximately 10%(about 6 ~8 cm ) more or less.
