Persimmon-Dye is commonly known as "Kakishibu" in Japan and this "persimmon juice" has been said to be good for the insecticide and antiseptic lacquering(especially on wood) and the persimmon-dyed fabric garment was worn among the Samurai warrior in the Heian perioid according to the historical record. Like the natural herb-dye, it works great for chemical dye allergy, chronic atopy and mental relaxation, being so easy on your skin as the same time. This package consists of the persimmon-dyedd cotton Kendo Gi jacket and the persimmon-dyed cotton #8000 Hakama. Simgle-layered Gi. 100% persimmon-dyed cotton. All handmade to order in Japan. Please allow two months for the producttion.  Due to the nature of product for dying process, the actual color of hakama and jacket may differ from the picture. And the fabric will shrink after being washed, approximately 10%(about 6 ~8 cm ) more or less.
