Alternative Views:	Okita Soji was surely a born genius in sword-fighting and is still selected as one of the most favorite swordman in history among Japanese fan. The record said that Okita Soji was using Kaga Kiyomitsu(a.k.a. Kiyomitsu the beggar) for both Katana and Wakizashi and Tozando is proud to present the great reproduction of the sword owned by the master who died young and is still being remembered. Traditional Handachi Koshirae fittings are used on this Okita Soji's Kiyomitsu Koshirae. Kabutogane, Fuchigane, Dowa(Semekanamono) and Ishizuki are made of brass. A black cotton Tsuka cord is bound over Tsukasame. Menuki set features theme of mantis and Saya is lacquered in Tamenuri(multi-layered, deep wine color). Black cotton Sageo is also included. A sand-cased, extra-reinforced zinc/aluminum alloy blade provides the superb balance for the dynamic air-slashing move. Hamon reproduces the Kiyomitsu's original. Each parts are uncompromisingly hand-assembled by the Japanese sword craftsman, who is expert in making the genuine Japanese sword, Shinken.
