Description   This Okegawa Do Kuwagata Kabuto Yoroi is based on the actual battlefield armor which was popular in the 17th century. Each part of Yoroi armor, Kabuto helmet and other component is purely handmade in Japan by the skilled craftsman for the possible high grade product within the affordable price. Helmet bowl consists of hand-hammered 8-piece iron plate and Fukikaeshi visors are featured on both temples. The neck guard is a traditional, 4-piece Iyozane style. A big and diginified Kuwagata and dragon theme decoration are standing tall. The body armor is tack-jointed for the wild appearance and the shoulder guard consists of 6- piece plate. There are 5 tassets under thearmor and each tasset is made of 7-piece iron. The arm guard, hand guard, shin guard and thigh guard are also all handmade with hammered iron. Upon the request, Kamon(family crest) can be also silkscreened on the armor and the storage box for free of charge. The default choice is without the Kamon. Each order is 100% handmade by the Japanese Yoroi craftsman and the prodution takes approximately two weeks for the completion. A storage/display box and an instruction guide are included.
