Saya is lacquered in retrospective Kanshitu Ishime style with part gloss Inden carving. Silver Kurigata Shitodome included. The blade reproduces the original Tadayoshi's Hamon pattern whose picturesque Hamon is said to be so beautiful that it brings the image of ploves flying in the sky. A sand-casted, a bubble-free zinc/aluminum alloy blade available up to 2.45 shaku. Approximately 800 gram without the Saya for 2.45 shaku. Tsuka is carefully hand-wrapped with the genuine suede leather and two-tone color Sageo included. Most orders shipped in approximately six weeks. The construction is excellent and you can see (if you have ever owned another iaito) the quality of the workmanship that has gone into making this sword. The sword is extremely well balanced and the swordsmiths allowed me to modify the Tsuka length and the Tsuka wrap to suit my requirements which was much appreciated.
