This extra heavy version of Dotanuki is for those who are seeking the aesthetic Iaito with the weight and balance like Shinsakuto or huge Bakumatsu style piece. The blade used for this Dotanuki Extra Heavy version is the heaviest and probably the thickest among all other Iaito products available from Tozando. A 2.5 Shaku Iaito will weigh approx. 1200 grams, making it 20% heavier than our Habahiro models.

Copper Fuchi/Kashira, which is beautifully finished in antique style, features whirlpool theme. The reinforced zinc/aluminum alloy* blade is available up to 2.60 Shaku. Made in Japan.
