This set contains our popular Super Deluxe Softened Double Layered Kendo Gi "AOI" and Deluxe Indigo-Dyed #10000 Cotton Kendo Hakama "AOI". The cotton yarns are dyed indigo in the traditional Bushu style dyeing, that is known to be the rich dark indigo blue, prior to the weaving. Then the yarns are carefully woven to make the fabric and eventually cut and sewn for the Gi and Hakama.

The yarns are selected for the best quailty that is used for the hand-stitched Kendo Gi and Kendo Bogu set and the whole process is completed under the technical guidance of the master craftsman, Takemura Keishi, officially recognized as the master of national arts and crafts by the Saitama prefecture.

Both Gi and Hakama are presoaked and the post-wash shrinkage is minimized.

Gi: backseamed. double-layered Size available from 2 to 5 and the half sizes are available.
