This great new innovation is now available from Tozando Kendo Shop. Unlike the conventional Kote, the palm leather is detachable and washable. The detachable palm is much quicker to dry and easily washable. If the palm leather is ripped, you don't have to purchase the brandnew pair of Kote, but simply get the extra palm, which is more economical. The futon on the right hand is padded with the shock-absorbing cushion, that enables the painless Uchikomi hitting.
