Description   3.0 Bu is the very classic stitching width as seen on the vintage Bogu set from the late Edo Shogunate era and is stil considered the best width for the practice Bogu among some of Japanese master teaching. This is because the 3.0 bu width can absorb the Shinai impact more than 1.5 or 1.2 and is much softer than 1.0 or 1.2, therefore, for your everyday practice, this 3.0 Bu is your great companion for your Dojo practice. Men consists of IBB lightweghted duralumin Mengane and the Futon is stitched in 3 bu(9 mm) on top/1.5 bu(4.5 mm) on side flaps in width. The 4-line silk braid decoration is featured on the chin guard. The chin guard and the hem leather are made of indigo-dyed synthetic leather. The Uchiwa's outer fabric is made of cotton and the inner of Uchiwa is made of soft, sweat-absorbing cotton for the comfortable wear. The chest guard is made of the blackened leather and 2-line silk braid decoration. Do base is made of the black-lacquered 50 pcs Yamato fiber. The Kote glove is made of reinforced, indigo-dyed synthetic leather and the palm made of smoked synthetic leather. Tare features 6-line silk braid and the hem/corner decoration are made of indigo-dyed synthetic leather.
