This Hon Higo Koshirae features the traditional rounded Higo style Tsukagashira and Fuchigane that matches with it Both Fuchi and Kashira are nicely finished in antique color. An iron-made, Kyoto style Sukashi Tsuba features Yaguruma(wheels and arrows) theme. Saya is available in Kuroro, Kuroishime, Chaishime. A sand-casted, a bubble-free zinc/aluminum alloy blade available up to 2.45 shaku. Approximately 840 gram without the Saya for 2.45 shaku.

Please allow approximately three weeks for the production. *A zinc/aluminum alloy blade is not constructed for cutting and/or hitting any objects. Please do not attempt these actions.

Worth every Cent! March 12, 2009

I ordered this, received a notice that it would ship in about 5 weeks- it arrived in only three weeks!
This is a tight, light, easy to handle Iaito. I have inspected mine closely and it is about as flawless as could be. I will get years of enjoyment from this investment.

The sword is beautiful. The balance is supurb and the blade cuts through the air like a laser. The tachikaze is excellent - You can hear when the blade is off by just a bit. The wrap is of the tightest I've felt. The fittings are well crafted and solid. The saya has a great aroma and fits the sword nicely. It is the best iaito I have owned and I can't wait to buy another.
