This Sakura Koshirae features the theme that sybolizes the image of Japan; Sakura(cherry) and Karakusa(Ivy tendril). Silver-plated Fuchi/Kashira and Menuki are made of brass and the theme of Sakura and Karakusa are nicely embossed. The iron Tsuba is traditional Futatsu Tomoe with two Sukashi Sakura. Tsuka is wrapped with black cotton over a genuine rayskin. The saya is available in Kuroishime(black matte finished lacquer) and Kuroro(black gloss finished lacquer). A sand-casted, a bubble-free zinc/aluminum alloy blade available up to 2.45 shaku. Approximately 820 gram without the Saya for 2.45 shaku.

Ce iaito est vraiment super. Bien taillé, bien préparé. Les finitions sont vraiment jolies. Pour la pratique du iaido c'est vraiment adapté.

I recieved this Iaito a couple of days ago. The delivery was quick, and the quality of this sword is excellent. All the fittings are tight and without a single mark on it. I am very pleased with this sword and would recommend it for any beginners out there.
